Yandex.Taxi expands to Romania, Ghana under Yango brand

MOSCOW, Jun 27 (PRIME) -- Russian online taxi hailing service Yandex.Taxi has launched its services under the brand Yango in Romania and Ghana, a Yandex.Taxi spokesperson told PRIME on Thursday.

“Yandex.Taxi under the brand Yango enters Romania: the service can be used in this country from June 27. It’s the fifth E.U. state for the service after Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland, and the 17th country in the world. Earlier, on June 6, Yango started working in Ghana, the second country after Cote d’Ivoire in Africa,” the spokesperson said.

Yango has no own cars or employs no drivers but cooperates with local carriers.
